Getting StartedWhen students ask me "why should I study abroad?" My response is always the same, "give me one solid reason why you wouldn't?" (Nicole Butler, There are thousands of study abroad programs and the staff of CIE are available to help you find the best program. Explore the links from this page to learn more about study abroad and how to choose the program and experience that is right for you! Before you come to the office please review the following sections of the website and complete the pre-advising questionnaire.
If you want to start looking at Loyola programs, click on the programs link at the top of your screen. You can just click search at the bottom of the screen for a listing of all programs. Limiting your search criteria to one or two items will give you the best results. You may search for programs according to country, city, region, class status, academic area, type of program, minimum GPA, prior language experience, language of instruction and more. The study abroad advisor will help you narrow your options and decide on a specific program. Many Loyola students study on non-Loyola programs that may not be listed on our website. If you are interested in a program not currently listed or in any semester program, please make an appointment.
